Opragon is designed for installation in the false inner ceiling in operating rooms used for infection-sensitive surgery.
The unit is supplied with slightly cooled, class H14 HEPA-filtered air from an external air treatment unit equipped with a heating/cooling battery. The filtered air is supplied to the operating room through eight airshowers, their unique design combined with the cooler air's higher density creates an operative zone of ultra-clean air under Opragon, using the TLA principle.
In a complete TLA installation, class CFU 5 can be maintained in the operative zone and in other parts of the theatre (provided that other hygiene and clothing requirements also are met).
