Airsonett launches Opragon® S.A.F.E. for Preparation Rooms
Preparation Rooms at the hospital operating wards are becoming more and more common as a way to increase productivity and to prepare sterile instruments and other surgical equipment in a hygienic way. With the Preparation Room in mind, Airsonett has developed the product Opragon S.A.F.E.
The acronym SAFE stands for Safe Area For Equipment which can be described as an installation which creates a zone of ultra-clean air over the preparation area. Opragon S.A.F.E is installed either in existing facilities or integrated in the operating ward’s ventilation system of a new build.
“We have seen an increased interest in creating Preparation Rooms and that these areas require the same hygienic demands as the operating area. We have developed Opragon S.A.F.E to meet this demand” says Peter Ekolind, CEO, Airsonett Operating Room Innovation AB. “Opragon S.A.F.E can easily be integrated in the inner ceiling of a room without disturbing the building’s existing ventilation system.”
Airsonett Operating Rooms Innovation AB is a research based medical technology company which leads the research and product development with the aim to decrease the spreading of airborne infections within the health care sector.
