Unique technique -prevents infections

With a new and totally unique system, based upon our knowledge and experience within the industrial clean-room technology, we combine a safe and reliable system with a comfortable working environment. Instead of introducing another LAF-ceiling which will use even more ceiling area and which requires higher air flows than previous versions of LAF-ceiling, we focus on efficiency. Instead of using HEPA-filter as both filter and air distributor, we separate these functions.

When installing Opragon, the filter is located outside the operating theatre and inside the theatre only purpose built; high efficiency air distributors (so-called air showers) are installed. While traditional LAF-ceilings require high airflow speed to compensate for variations in falling speed at the exposed wound, we introduce a system which follows the basic laws of nature.
